As part of my abandoned houses theme I have ventured into making small 3D models of some interiors I ‘trespassed’ with a friend. This is a combination of photography, collage and textural materials to convey a place. 23×22×12cm Wall hung or free standing
Mixed media on paper. This is a beautiful old quinta (farm) which has been abandoned for decades. This is a detail of the entrance gate.

Mixed media on canvas. This mixed media artwork was inspired by a walk around and inside of a local ruin in Colares of a farmhouse which is abandoned.
80x100cm unframed
Mixed media on paper. This mixed media artwork was inspired by a ruin which I captured from many perspectives and integrated it into a spiral design set into an oval form.
60x71cm framed with glass
Mixed media on paper. I have driven by this abandoned building many times and finally got out to investigate inside and out. The mystery of its occupancy long gone is quite haunting.

Mixed media on wood. I learned that this building which is shown from different perspectives had once been a butchers shop probably from the 17th century. It’s symmetry and detail caught my eye.
84 x 125cm unframed
mixed media artwork on wood inspired by art residency in France and half timbered 17th century buildings, 43 × 43cm, framed (no glass). As an architect artist I am interested in the history, restoration of old buildings as well as abandoned buildings and ruins.
Mixed media collage & photography on 40 ×40cm wood framed (no glass), inspired by a bridge in Nérac, France
